I had a lot of fun with this lesson. Here’s a (small) list of the topics that were used in our discussion of inverse trig:

- domain / range and restrictions
- functions / relations and notation
- even/odd functions
- functions and inverses – numerically
- functions and inverses – graphically
- function composition
- trig exact values
- inverse trig in radians
- …

What a rich discussion. I also got to complain about the notation of arcsin as represented by sin^-1. Also, predictions of what the graph of sin(sin^-1(x)) would look like, and even better, predictions of the graph of sin^-1(sin(x)) (if you don’t remember, try it out, amazing stuff).
