Gave a list to our friendly librarian with some math and science books that might be useful for AP Calc final projects. I really really wish I had more time to read. Some really interesting books. A supportive librarian is the best.

BC Calculus found out why today (we started integration).
First year doing SBG in PreCalculus H and Advanced Algebra. This was the first (of three) weeks where they were able to stay after school and reassess one standard. Full classroom.
I don't like giving out a series of steps to solve a specific type of problem. I'd rather they come up with it themselves. Related rates rules:
Solving inequalities in Pre-Calc H.
First graphically using Desmos.
Next algebraically using big whiteboards.
Some really important connections being made with the connections between the algebraic and graphing solution.

Finding e in Advanced Algebra. Compound Interest first. Notice the last couple of numbers actually get smaller? Good talk about how the calculator is having trouble raising a number to one million and doing so accurately.
