Calculus BC - Work relay race. A couple of groups are giving me exact answers. Bah!
Sequences and series in precalc h. We (tried to) calculate the perimeter. Infinite perimeter, finite area. Zoomed into the fractal with the free windows software Xaos. Minds blown.
Group practice of sequences and series. Answers up front on whiteboard by my desk (hidden from general view).
The My Favorites project has taken off very nicely. Here is a precalculus H student presenting about sound and sine waves. So much fun.
A second question that is running through my brain: How important is it to introduce programming into the math classroom? Does it benefit the students?
